  • This "self employed" part time position within the practice team offering many opportunities to communicate and help patients.

  • The hygienist will;

  • Create a good impression of the practice by being professional in manner.
  • Record via computer treatment carried out
  • Be responsible for the aseptic state of the surgery
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Offer clinical advice.
  • Maintain their GDC registration & Indemnity protection.

  • Being committed to patient well being this practice has a firm No Smoking policy on the premises.

  • Appearance

  • The hygienist should be turned out in smart dress.

  • Arrangements for supervision and Training

  • The post involves self-supervision and a degree of audit by fellow clinicians. Training is through sharing experiences of established staff and outside courses as and when they become available.
