BDS (U. LONDON) (GDC Registration number 228568)
Victoria worked in the practice in 2012 then went on to gain experience at Poole Hospital.
She married in 2015 & lives locally.
In 2002 she participated in a cetacean research programme in the Mediterranean Sea. As a member of the crew she stayed aboard a research vessel for a week and helped in all aspects of daily life including data collection, cooking, cleaning and sailing. Being the only British crew member she found it a challenging but very rewarding experience allowing me to gain an insight into the methods of research used in the field. In 2009 she spent two weeks aboard the Africa Mercy, a hospital ship that provides free medical and dental care in various locations in Africa. She was attached to the dental team during the field service in Togo. It was an extremely challenging environment to work in but gave her a real insight into some of the challenges faced by those with little access to dental care and the problems that arise from untreated chronic dental diseases.
