This position within the practice team utilises numerous office skills and offers many opportunities to communicate with patients. Staff members receive 28 days paid holiday calculated pro-rata for part time. Staff are paid by electronic transfer at the end of the month and are offered enrolment in the NEST Pension scheme.

The receptionist should be turned out in smart dress, as the receptionist sets the tone of the practice.
The post involves self-supervision and a degree of audit by fellow receptionists. Training is through sharing experiences of established staff and outside courses as and when they become available.
