Job Description: Dental Hygienist

This "self employed" part time position within the practice team offering many opportunities to communicate and help patients.

The hygienist will;

Create a good impression of the practice by being professional in manner.

Record via computer treatment carried out

Be responsible for the aseptic state of the surgery

Maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Offer clinical advice.

Maintain their GDC registration & Indemnity protection.

Appearance

The hygienist should be turned out in smart dress.

Arrangements for supervision and Training

The post involves self-supervision and a degree of audit by fellow clinicians. Training is through sharing experiences of established staff and outside courses as and when they become available.
